About

Bridget Tomlinson is a West Midlands based Soprano currently studying with Christine Cairns.
Bridget's love of singing began at 8 years old when she sang as a chorister in her local church choir. She then began vocal training at the age of16, and quickly excelled in vocal performance. Here, she explored different aspects of performance. Since Graduating, Bridget has actively been working within the Education Sector. With the Birmingham Music Service she has taught across several schools in the Midlands, leading choirs and preparing children for Public Performances. Bridget also works as a Private Vocal Coach in a number of genres, preparing students for ABRSM and LCM exams. She has been an instructor for Stagecoach Edgbaston and enjoys Musical Theatre.

In February 2020, Bridget returned to Durham University for their Opera Gala, again performing as a soloist alongside Sir Thomas Allen. She was awarded an Honorary Associate Fellowship of Van Mildert College for contributions to the Arts.
Currently, Bridget is working as a Singing and Music Teacher across several independent schools. Alongside her teaching, Bridget loves to perform as a soloist for Weddings and Parties, performing numerous genres from Jazz Ballads to Opera Arias!
